Hokkaido Island in Japan, where Shiretokoiozan volcano is located, is in
the northern part of Japan and Lat. 43 degrees N. The TV news said it is
a hot day in other part of Japan but here it is cold like winter.
My PC's key boad does not work well and I brought it to a PC shop in Abashiri
by motorcycle. I wore winter jacket while I was riding.
So, in the winder it has a lot of snow in this area and Shiretokoiozan
volcano is inaccessible. I can visit the researching area only during the
summer and I have to hurry.

知床硫黄山が有る北海道斜里町では、今日は本当に寒かった。昼までも14℃だった。パソコンのキーボードが壊れてしまって、網走のパソコン屋さんにバイクでもっていったが、あまりにも寒いので冬のジャンバーを着ていた。
冬の間、知床硫黄山は雪のために近づくことができない。夏の今の内に調査を急がねばならない。
